The Laukanharju farm is part of the eastern Finnish rural landscape. In our large area, you can discover the diversity of nature, its forests and animals. Our farm is located on the border of Savonlinna and Sulkava in Liistonsaari.

Facilities Centre/Reception.

Lammassaari. An island of about 20 hectares that can be reached by rowing or canoeing. At the northwest end of the island there is a small dock for kayaks/canoes. There is a wood fireplace and a barbecue hut, for our guests to use for camping.

Dome Blackbird and Swan are nestled on high cliffs on the northern shore of the island, with a top view directly over the lake. The area is surrounded by old rocky trees and the beautiful lake scenery of Lake Saimaa. The area also includes a barbecue hut, Tentsile Norpparanta, eco toilet and a Norpparanta sauna cottage.

Book a kayak, canoe or bicycle and go exploring in the Saimaa archipelago.

Along the island’s easy (hiking) trails you can see many species of birds and explore Finland’s diverse nature.

The Laukanharju Forest Resort is an absolute gem for anyone looking to unplug and reconnect with nature. The glamping tent offers a phenomenal view through the trees out over the lake, waking up to this breathtaking scenery is truly unforgettable. A real highlight is the sauna house right by the lake, perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. For those who love water activities, the resort provides SUP boards, paddle boats, and a canoe, making it easy to explore the tranquil lake at your own pace. Breakfast here is a special treat: each morning, a delicious selection of local goodies is delivered in a charming little wooden box, which you can enjoy right at your tent. The combination of comfort, thoughtful details, and the peaceful forest setting makes Laukanharju Forest Resort the perfect place to unwind and leave everyday stress behind. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a unique and restorative getaway.

A wonderful place to enjoy peace and nature. The dome is so nice with amazing view and AC. You can rent a private sauna, do some water sport activities and have a swim in the lake. The breakfast was so good especially freshly baked buns. The owners were super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

A serene and indulgent spot in the middle of the forest. We arrived in the rain, which somewhat disrupted the possibility of strolling around the area. However, the cabin was amazing, and the view as well. The outdoor restroom was a short walk away, and the shower was only in the office, which we knew in advance, and it didn't really detract from the amazing experience we had there. We couldn't finish the generous and sumptuous breakfast due to the abundant offerings.

Vierailumme oli täydellinen - kaikki yksityiskohdat oli tässä majoituksessa ajateltu viimeisen päälle. Esimerkiksi rannan uimahuoneesta löytyi lukollinen kaappi, johon jättää tavaroita melontaretken ajaksi. Kaikki tilat olivat siistejä, aktiviteettivälineet ensiluokkaisia ja sauna ihastuttava. Myös domen ovelle tuotu aamiaiskori oli vertaansa vailla. Palvelukin pelasi - lämmin kiitos henkilökunnalle ja iso suositus muille matkailijoille❤️
